Food sensitivity can cause symptoms like headaches, bloating, and fatigue – and without testing you’ll never know which foods are causing it. Measuring your body’s immune response to food allows you to eliminate hidden performance stressors to maximize your overall health.
Everlywell’s At-Home Food Sensitivity Testing
In the past few years the company Everlywell has rushed onto the biohacking scene and has quickly become one of the most trusted names in at-home testing. They now offer a wide variety of services spanning from Covid-19 tests to sexual wellness and STD checks.
But one of their original (and most popular) options is their at-home food sensitivity tests.
These packages use a finger-prick blood sample to measure your body’s immune response to 100+ foods known to be high in histamine reaction. Everything from different types of dairy, to eggs, fruits and vegetables, various grains, meats, legumes, and more.
Essentially every commonly consumed food that you can think of.
Why do this? Because sensitivities to these foods are common but often go undetected because their symptoms aren’t as severe as a full-blown allergic reaction.
Symptoms of sensitivity to these foods include headaches and migraines, bloating, stomach or abdominal pain, indigestion, brain fog, and fatigue.
But the food sensitivity tests allow you to isolate exactly which food is causing your symptoms so that you can eliminate it from your diet.
Each food is rated on a Class scale of 0-3 for how it reacts in your unique body: Class 0 (normal reactivity) to Class 3 (high reactivity), providing you with easy-to-understand, personalized, and actionable data.
Those ratings are based on your body’s measured release of a type of antibody called immunoglobulin-G (IgG).
A higher IgG reactivity level from a food can mean that there’s a possibility that the food can be giving you symptoms – making that food an ideal candidate to include in your list to initially remove temporarily from your diet.
The idea is that you eliminate the foods that read as high reactivity, and then slowly add back in each food one by one to assess your body’s response. This helps you confirm exactly which foods are causing your unique symptoms.
Everlywell currently offers two main levels for their food sensitivity tests: the basic test which covers 96 foods and then their comprehensive test which covers 204 foods. We’ve summarized the details of each below but both tests follow the same simple procedure for collection and analysis:
Everlywell’s Basic Food Sensitivity Test
Curious which foods are tested in each package? We were too. Everlywell lists them on their website but they don’t make it too easy to see everything together in a big-picture view. So we pulled the data out and re-formatted it to make everything a little easier to digest.
The Everlywell Basic Food Sensitivity package covers testing for these 96 foods:
That’s a solid list, and covers many of the high-probability foods that are known to cause sensitivity symptoms.
With your package you get a set of detailed directions, pre-paid shipping both ways, digital and printable results, all of the sample collection tools, and support help along the way if you need it.

Everlywell’s Comprehensive Food Sensitivity Test
This list definitely took a little longer to analyze (and we may have cracked open some of our favorite nootropics for it…).
The Everlywell Comprehensive Food Sensitivity test covers an exhaustive list of 204(!) foods. You’ll find all of those in the images below, with the 108 new additions which aren’t included in the basic package highlighted in green.
As you can see the comprehensive package definitely covers a much larger variety of foods, and many of the new additions are extremely common in the average persons diet.
Speaking from personal experience we had members of our team show sensitivity to many of these new additions, such as lentils, shrimp, rosemary, mangos, and more. Things that wouldn’t have shown up on the basic package.
Removing those foods from our diets helped us to completely eliminate any food sensitivity symptoms and reach our full potential for performance.
In other words, we’d recommend the Comprehensive Package to pretty much everyone. And seeing as you really only need to do it once in your life and it’s only a hundred bucks more than the basic package at the time of this writing, it’s really a no brainer.
The opportunity to have no brain fog, headaches, or bloating all the time is well worth it.

BOTTLED FLOW-STATE – The Top 3 Best Nootropic Supplements And Our Guide To Using Them
Probably no other type of supplement elicits as much interest (or argument) from the biohacker community as nootropics. The problem? Most of the nootropics on the market today are little more than caffeine pills masked with flashy marketing. Lucky for you we’ve compiled our top 3 favorite over-the-counter nootropic supplements here, along with our guide to using them effectively.
ANDREW HUBERMAN TESTOSTERONE BOOSTING SUPPLEMENTS – Updated March 2022 – Plus Bonus Tips From Tim Ferriss
Most of the testosterone boosting supplements on the market are bullshit. There. We said it. At best they have a barely-measurable effect and at worst they do nothing or could even be harmful. But fortunately there’s hope for those of us who aren’t quite ready to stick a needle in our ass just yet.
Stanford neurobiologist Andrew Huberman recently appeared on JRE and other podcasts where he discussed supplements that have a clinically proven effect on testosterone. On top of that, we’ve also included a few bonus tricks from Tim Ferriss’s 4-Hour Body chapter on testosterone boosting. Enjoy.
